Gry Wojenne plot
Specially designed portrait of the Polish Colonel Kuklinski, who passed on more than 40,000 strategic documents from the Warsaw Pact to the American CIA during the Cold War. Was he a traitor or a savior of Poland? Polish documentary filmmaker Dariusz Jablonski begins his story about the colonel in 2004, when he was to interview him for the first time. Kuklinski appears to have died suddenly. At the request of Kuklinski's wife, who is in a wheelchair, Jablonski takes care of his ashes. He speaks with a large number of deeply involved veterans -- from US spy chief General William E. Odom to Russian Commander-in-Chief Wiktor Kulikov, Polish General Jaruzelski (Kuklinski's immediate boss) and Lech Walesa. This gives rise to the image of an idealistic man who saved Europe from World War III, but who led a tragic life.
