Going Home plot
Jason never expected to ever look back on his troubled childhood in South Korea. Although he was adopted two decades ago, he identifies as a true New Yorker. Raised against a liberal background in Greenwich Village with Jewish parents, Jason shows almost no interest in his Korean background. He was completely satisfied with his American life that was chosen for him. But when he grows up to be a young adult, he becomes curious about his Korean roots. Jason finally gains the courage to make contact with his real mother, and in the course of his search, he discovers that neither his real father nor his older sister know anything about his existence.
