Glücksritterinnen plot

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, people have suffered from unemployment and increased crime. Many mothers want to give their daughters a better future and that is why they send them to the promising west. The director, Katja Fedulova, came to Germany in 1993 to complete her studies in Kiel. Here she befriended 5 Russian fellow sufferers. Thirteen years later, she examines what has become of her and these women. These included a single mother, a woman with a hedonistic lifestyle and an alcoholic.
