Nearly one million people in 22 countries murdered thirteen million innocent men, women and children without cause. The Allies knew where many of the killers were - Germany, Austria, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and numerous countries in South America. The Allies unanimously agreed to prosecute those responsible when they drafted the London Agreement in August 1945, but after the late 1940s those same Allies did almost nothing. Why did so many get away with their crimes with impunity?
