Wolves are seen as rulers of the wilderness. To some they are dangerous beasts and to others they are mythical creatures. Many are fascinated by the strict hierarchy observed in the packs. How do wolves really live? The wild wolf is back in Germany. This documentary shows never-before-seen footage. Thanks to modern GPS collars, the filmmaker is able to follow the path of some young wolves from a pack. A few sought nearby space to start a new family, and others even tried to conquer the territory of an already established wolf.
