Genet à Chatila plot

For many Palestinians, the year 1982 is the beginning of an ongoing nightmare. In September of that year, the Palestinian camps of Sabra and Chatila were invaded by Falangists and many people were horribly murdered. At the time, the French writer Jean Genet (1910-1986) was living in Beirut, near the camps. He spent four hours in Chatila after the massacre and what he saw and heard there left an indelible impression on him. In this film, actress Mounia follows in Genet's footsteps and thus reconstructs an important episode in his life.
