Genç Pehlivanlar plot

Twenty-eight youngsters between the ages of ten and eighteen at Amasya's wrestling academy dream of one day becoming wrestling champions. The film focuses on the friendship, struggles and victories of six twelve-year-olds. Baran, who has lost his mother, was raised by his grandfather and who has problems maintaining weight. Harun, a national championship favorite who broke his arm last year and is now trying to come back. Beytullah is ambitious, but has bad luck with his health. Ümit is the sunbeam of the group. Ahmet, the youngest champion in his age class, who is jealous and proud of his brother competing in the Olympics. Muhammed is the one who shows us around and the social glue that holds the group together.
