Friendly Fridges plot

During the lockdown, they were suddenly there on the streets of New York: dozens of colorfully painted neighborhood refrigerators. Neighbors and shopkeepers put in what they can for the homeless, the unemployed and others. Meanwhile, the neighborhood refrigerators are becoming a real movement. Kymme Williams-Davis, one of the first to put a refrigerator on the street, says that the refrigerators symbolize the resilience of New Yorkers to her.
