Flickan Som Räddade Mitt Liv plot

Filmmaker Hogir Hirori lives in Sweden with his heavily pregnant wife. When he sees the images of the millions of people fleeing Iraq from the advance of IS, he has no choice but to leave to document this tragedy. After all, it is his homeland: he knows the area, speaks the language and - above all - he knows what it is like to be a refugee. On the spot, he gets the chance to travel in a helicopter that will fly to the Shingal Mountains, the place where hundreds of thousands of Yazidis are trapped, surrounded by IS. During his search he meets many war victims, each with their own story.
