"In Brooklyn, every dance is a battle"

'Flexing' is a dance style that originated in the far east of Brooklyn, a place where a handful of subway lines come to a dead end. Flex dancers channel the rudeness and crime of eastern New York into a choreography of simulated combat. No style of street dancing is so violent, scary and theatrical. For over two years, 'Flex is Kings' follows a group of dancers and explores the hopes and reality of this group.
