Family Business plot

The family of the Polish Jowita lacks the money to finish the years of ongoing renovations to their house. To earn the money for the remaining work, Jowita goes to work as a housekeeper in Germany for a few months. Saying goodbye to her husband and child is difficult for her and Anne's reception in Germany is not very cordial. The 88-year-old woman, who suffers from early dementia, finds it difficult to accept the strange woman in her household. But the women gradually find a way to relate to each other.
