Falling Up plot

Johnny Popp is a Vietnam veteran. After his wife dies in a car accident, Johnny becomes addicted to alcohol and marijuana to ease the pain. Later he comes into contact with crack and cocaine. He survives from day to day, only through the goodness of others. One day he is beaten up and left for dead. This incident changes his life forever.
