EXITing plot

Portrait of the Rotterdam poet Cor Vaandrager. Once a literary great who perished from his compelling life and literally ended up in the gutter. In the sixties they stood like shining stars in the Dutch literary sky, De Nieuwe Stijl: Cornelis Bastiaan Vaandrager, Armando, Hans Sleutelaar and Hans Verhagen. They came from the fast-paced advertising world and used texts as ready-mades. Vaandrager remained true to his ideals of the time: you should have tried everything in your life. This ideal eventually literally landed him in the gutter.
