If your life were a song, what would it sound like? Narrative songs have been central to Norwegian culture for centuries. Every Song a Story is about a small community, high in the Norwegian mountains, where this musical tradition continues to this day. The people of Møsvatn create meaningful stories about their lives through songs, in which they make connections between past and future, memories and expectations. The film is about preserving an old tradition and developing it further at the same time.
