A new beach day begins. Lifeguard Mauricio starts the daily routine of building his watchtower, checking the weather and water level and keeping his logbook. The tanned Mauricio looks like a relaxed surf dude with his dreadlocks, but this serious young man is anything but. Rules are rules, so he keeps booze, stray dogs and barbecues off his beach. And prevention is better than saving. He keeps an eye on his bathers and corrects them with his warning whistle. However, the holidaymakers do not want to be commanded at all. Mauricio is also not very popular with colleagues. While Mauricio closely monitors the absence of competitor Jean-Pierre, he in turn criticizes him as a 'fake lifeguard'...
