El Partido plot

Mexico, 1986. England and Argentina meet in the quarter-finals of the World Cup. The atmosphere between the two warring nations is far from friendly. The match is played in the shadow of the Falkland Islands conflict, meaning that the run-up revolves just as much around pride and political gain as it does around football. That all changes as soon as Diego Maradona steps onto the pitch and manages to engrave both his name and 'the hand of God' in the history books.
