El Legado plot

Grandparents are sometimes closer to their grandchildren than their own parents. This also applies to this family in a Chilean village. There are only two of them, the old grandmother and her granddaughter. As different as they are, they get along so well. When something needs to be repaired in their cottage, young Laura grabs her toolbox. Her grandmother Rosa cleans sick children away from evil spirits. If the unafraid Laura goes alone at night after going out, she can get a sermon from Grandma. Moments later, the two women confide in each other again, as in one of the many lovingly observed moments in this documentary.
