El Día Que Volaron la Montaña plot

Under Franco's dictatorial regime, residents of the Spanish village of Escó were ordered to leave in 1959 because of the construction of a reservoir in the Pyrenees. A father of three boys flatly refused. Now the three elderly brothers still live isolated among the ruins, where they tend their flock every day. Time has stood still for decades. But now that the government is building a highway right through their habitat, their simple, secluded existence is once again threatened.
