"The minimal story of Erwin Valdebenito"

Every morning he runs from his home in San Benardo to work in Santiago, a distance of about eighteen miles. With his obsessive running, he pushes a line that he cannot find in his work as a civil servant at the unmistakably Kafkaesque Institute of Provisional Standardisation. After work, he trains for an hour in the park.
