"A Story of Love and Friendship"

Julia is 65 years old but until her adolescence she was called Oscar Alberto. In 1993 at the University Hospital of the Republic, after rigorous physical and psychological examinations, she underwent a sex change operation that resulted in Alberto Oscar becoming Julia, the second Uruguayan man to become a biological woman. Ignacio is 75 years old and scarred by a hard life. He survived for years thanks to low-paid precarious jobs, drank a lot of alcohol and lived on the streets until he met Julia. She gave him peace and stability in a home environment.
