Downstream to Kinshasa plot

In June 2000, in the streets of Kisangani, a city in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, troops from neighboring Rwanda and Uganda battled for control of the region's mining resources. It was a bloody war that lasted six days, with about a thousand dead and at least three thousand wounded.
