Double Tide plot

Jen Casad is a clam fisherman in the swampy coastal areas of Maine and is followed here without comment in her daily activities. At low tide - once in the morning and once in the evening - she has several hours to collect the mussels. Director Lockhart deliberately follows the lonely work of a rare profession, with Casad often at the mercy of the elements.
