Doodstrijders plot

Death Fighters portrays a group of people who fight for the right to decide for themselves how and when they die. They believe that it is not a doctor, but you yourself who should decide. In doing so, they do not shy away from recommending or providing Drug X. The Public Prosecution Service considers them 'mad idealists', but they themselves see themselves as fighters for new legislation. Filmmakers Manon Hoornstra and Christien van der Aar follow several main characters from the sensational criminal case this year, in which assisted suicide was central.
