Snowy owls live a separate existence in the Arctic. Their destiny depends on the sheer numbers of lemmings that live there, providing the owls with plenty of food. Recently, however, the mass reproduction of lemmings has decreased. What does that mean for the snowy owls, especially during the harsh winters? What is the ecological link here?
