Die Familie plot

The 'debate to protect the Berlin Wall' has been a recurring topic in recent German history. To what extent can one person still be seen as solely responsible, when acting on behalf of an authoritarian regime, under whose law he does nothing wrong? The documentary about the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Wall tells about the fate of those left behind who were shot dead by border guards on the former inner German border. For example, the emotional descriptions of those involved are compared with the cool objective Stasi files.
