In conservative southwest Germany, four people—Gabriel, Elisabeth, Melina, and Dunja—take the courageous step of radically changing their lives in search of happiness. They used to have different names, lived different lives, and had different genders; now, they know with every fiber of their being that the old chaos is no longer sustainable.
