De Ydmygede plot

In the spring of 1997, Danish director Jesper Jargil received a request from his high-profile colleague Lars von Trier to make test shots of individual actors in preparation for making The Idiots. Jargil agreed, on the condition that he could be present during the entire shooting period to record his own documentary. The result is The Humiliated, an account of the making of that controversial film and a unique insight into the working method of the much-discussed Von Trier.
