De Vogelvriend plot

This short documentary shows the unique bond between 14-year-old Dave and his barn owl Tristan. Dave shares everything with his bird. Tristan feels him better than anyone. The past year was dominated by the loss of his grandmother. To come to terms with the loss of his grandmother and overcome his fears, Dave trains with sea eagle Juultje, who is much more dangerous than Tristan. Will Dave be able to train this scary bird of prey?
