De Vliegende Hond plot

Johannes Hogebrink is an artist with a dream: inspired by Laika and Otto Lilienthal, he wants to teach his dog to fly. By making a film about it, he hopes to support his daughter and girlfriend. But his dog Chayka is afraid of heights. Chayka himself talks about his life as a street dog in Bosnia. Hoping to fulfill his dream, Johannes decides the best way to help Chayka get over his trauma is to teach him to fly.
