The port city of Hoorn played a leading role in the Dutch slavery past. Now that the facts about that time have been described in a research report, the question is how the city and its residents should deal with the emotionally charged history. With a special dialogue evening about the history of slavery, the municipality hopes to bridge the divisions in the city around the theme.
