De Stad Die Nooit Rust plot

Commissioned by the municipality of Rotterdam, cameraman Andor von Barsy filmed Rotterdam. With his dynamic camera work, Von Barsy portrayed Rotterdam as a bustling city where life is concentrated around the port. Von Barsy also aimed his camera at the historic city center, with its beautiful canals, warehouses, activity on quays and lively shopping streets.
