In the run-up to their fourth CD 'Ja Natúúrlijk', director Paula van den Elsen follows the Netherlands' most popular hip-hop formation, De Jeugd van Nowadays. The documentary shows De Jeugd in the studio during the recordings under the direction of Bas Bron, on their way to concerts and behind the scenes and shows how the completely different types interact with each other and how they complement each other. Furthermore, the history of De Jeugd Van Nowadays passes by, from the first hit Watskeburt?! to the bizarre stories about the formation of the band, which Willie Wartaal, Vjeze Fur and Faberyayo invented in the early days.
