De Beeldenstorm plot

This film can be regarded as a sequel to 'De Tijdgeest' (1968). Using interviews with people who live on the margins of society and flashes of theatre, music and poetry performances in De Melkweg, Van Der Keuken provides a picture of the Amsterdam subculture. The remnants and changes of the Ideas of 1968 are reflected in it. Rather a collage of images and impressions that together shape the contemporary zeitgeist.
