Das Halbe Leben plot

Five people who have one thing in common come together: they recently became unemployed. They discuss among themselves what far-reaching consequences this has for their own lives, both professionally and especially socially. Some are hopeful, others have lost hope in the future. This documentary accompanies the five months in their search for new work. There are many disappointments, but also some moments of happiness. A documentary that makes tangible what it means to miss a job.
