Documentary maker Katja Esson wondered what kind of women they are who sell their bodies for money. She paints a picture of the profession without any condemnation or morals, through stories from ancient Greece, to ladies in post-World War II East Germany. She spoke with prostitutes from Germany, England, France, Greece and Italy.
