Daders plot

Perpetrators is based on extensive audio interviews with three incest perpetrators, who have since been convicted. Ordinary family men who have abused their daughters for years without anyone in their environment noticing. Only the perpetrators themselves have their say, no victims, no relatives and no 'experts'. The film portrays their obsession and the way in which they have victimized their daughters. The perpetrators are not recognizable in the picture. Interiors of houses serve as a cinematic means to connect the perpetrator's everyday life with his secret life, which takes place mainly in the intimacy of his family.
