Cuatreros plot
Albertina Carri wants to make a film about Isidro Velázquez, an almost mythical figure who was an outlaw from northern Argentina and was shot dead by the police in 1967. She is not the only one interested in him: her father Roberto Carri, a sociologist , wrote a book about him called "The Pre-Revolutionary Forms of Violence" and made a film about his story, although the father and the film both disappeared during the Dirty War. Legends, families, political groups, cinema: none of these offer a stable footing and Carri's passage through them is like walking in a garden of branching paths, only to arrive at a landscape of cracked earth and thorns.
