Crude Impact plot

Documentary about the consequences of a possible oil peak, which could easily mean a turning point for the earth. The 'oil peak' is the moment from which international oil production will inevitably decline. According to the US Geological Survey, that moment is far in the future; according to one of the interviewees, it could have taken place as early as 2007. In an essayistic speech, with an accompanying voice-over, the makers give the floor to writers, activists and other opinion leaders, who warn of the approaching disaster.
