Cosmic Miniatures plot

At 91 years old, Alexander Kluge remains curious about new media, so it is not surprising that he has recently started experimenting with artificial intelligence. Using a program developed in Munich for medical research, the filmmaker generates images that push the creative possibilities of the system to the limit. Kluge tackles these creations in the same essayistic manner that we appreciate so much in his television work – historical images alternate with a flood of texts, comics, graphics and variety. In short: facts and fiction intertwine and the audience learns a lot through play.
