Contos Do Esquecimento plot

A few years ago, excavations in the southern Portuguese city of Lagos uncovered a huge fifteenth-century landfill. In addition to utensils, archaeologists also found human remains: more than 150 skeletons in total, of men, women and children, some tied up. A genetic analysis confirmed that they were African people, enslaved people brought to Portugal by merchant sailors.
