Children of Transition plot
A coming-of-age about David, Natalija, Lana and Marta. After an outstanding performance for FC Barcelona scouts, eight-year-old David, who has been dubbed the 'Messi of Slavonski Brod' by the media, can't wait to be invited to La Masia. This non-existent piece of paper is the basis of David's dreams, but also that of his family. Eleven-year-old Natalija comes from a humble background and doesn't have a smartphone or other trendy stuff. This makes her bullied by her classmates and forced to change schools. Six-year-old Lana spends her days fashion, makeup, dancing and playing games on her cell phone. For fifteen-year-old Marta, teenage life defined by bullying at school and on social networks was unbearable. What does a happy childhood and growing up in a healthy environment look like? Is this possible in a society that has not yet reached its own maturity?
