Chasing the Dazzling Light plot

Director Yaser Kassab followed in his father's footsteps by emigrating from Syria to Europe at a young age, just like him with the ambition to become a filmmaker. They work together on this film, remotely. From Syria, the father gives his son stage directions by telephone or video calling, but also advice about next film projects or how to organize his life. Loving conversations interspersed with well-intentioned parental advice.
