Casas para Todos plot

While the majority of Spaniards barely have the money to make ends meet - let alone to take out a mortgage - project developers are happily building on. It produces beautiful, but harrowing images. Of deserted roads and overgrown playgrounds. The documentary also shows an overseer of a residential area that has never been put into use. He is the only living person for miles around and fills his days trudging around, exercising and sunbathing next to an empty pool.
