Cahier Africain plot

Amzine, a young woman from the Central African Republic, was raped in 2002 when Congolese soldiers raided her village. But she didn't want to be a victim. She picked up a small notebook and filled it with testimonials from other Central African women, girls and men who had the same experience as Amzine. 300 reports put together now form a piece of evidence for the suffering that has been suffered. Since 2008, director Heidi Specogna has accompanied her protagonist, who, in addition to Amzine, also heard the 12-year-old Fane who was born as a result of rape, and the girl Arlette, who has suffered for many years from a gunshot in the knee.
