Cafe Ta'amon, King-George-Street, Jerusalem plot
Documentary about the Ta'amon cafe in Jerusalem, founded in 1938, ten years before the founding of Israel. In the 1950s, the cafe became a magnet for politicians, journalists and activists, as diagonally across from King George Street was the Knesset, Israel's parliament. In the meantime, Jerusalem has been divided, the Knesset has been moved, there have been several wars and several modern cafes have opened nearby, but Ta'amon is still there.
