Burma Soldier plot
Myo Myint Cho was a soldier in the Burmese army for many years, but defected to the resistance. This documentary provides a rare glimpse into a dictatorial regime through Myint's eyes. Both with his heart and with his head, he gives insight into the political and psychological power with which the violent junta terrorizes his country. When he loses an arm, a leg and fingers in the Civil War, he realizes that he is anything but serving his people. Myint opens a library of strictly prohibited books, tells his story as an ex-serviceman and demonstrates against the regime.
