Buddha's Lost Children plot
"A breathtaking true story of compassion and tough love."
In the border areas of Thailand's Golden Triangle - a rough region with a lot of drug trafficking and poor tribes - one man has devoted himself to the well-being of the children. Buddhist monk Phra Khru Bah, a former Thai boxer, travels on horseback to all villages to distribute health care and education to villagers who have no support from any government. This so-called Tiger Monk has built an orphanage, school and hospital with his Golden Horse Temple - a safe haven for the orphans. His students see him as a shaman, father figure and coach at the same time.
