Brasslands plot

Typical for Balkan music is the fast, shrill and compelling trumpet played. This sound, and the musicians who produce it, are central to the Trumpet Festival with their band. In August 2013, the 50th edition was held in the Serbian valley village of Guca, with half a million visitors. Finally, a competition: which band and blazer can call themselves 'master' in the coming year? Three brass bands with diverse backgrounds will be followed in the run-up to the Trumpet Festival.
