Bois d'Ébène plot
In the 15th century, a gigantic human trafficking takes place between Europe, Africa and America, which will not stop until the 19th century. In the meantime, more than 11 million people from countries in Africa have been trafficked, exchanged for weapons, money and alcohol. Set up around the triangular trade, this film tells the story of an expedition between Nantes, Benin and Guadeloupe. It shows alternate images of the slave ship and the French city, where colonial trade is at its peak.
