Blood Relation plot
In the early 1940s, when she was fourteen years old, Pnina disappeared near her home in what is now Israel. Years later she started sending letters to her family. She turned out to be married to an Arab and had children. It was never made clear whether she had fled or been kidnapped. Director Noa Ben-Hagay found her great-aunt Pnina's letters and had her uncle, a retired Israeli intelligence colonel, track down the unknown family in the Palestinian territories. “Blood Relation” follows the various encounters between the members of this Jewish-Arab family over a period of three years as they meet again in Israel, then again in Nablus.
